We turn to the Men’s Snowboard Halfpipe as Jake Pates, Chase Josey, and Alessandro Barbieri are competing for the United States.

We move on to Women’s Hockey as the United States takes on Italy in the quarterfinals. Italy has the home crowd on their side, so the atmosphere is more tense compared to previous games.

The game blew wide open for the United States in the second period.

Immediately into the 2nd period, the United States scores again to make it 2-0 thanks to Kendall Coyne Schofield.

Britta Curl-Salemme scores for the USA to make 5-0 on a shorthanded goal.

Hannah Bilka scores to make it 6-0 for the United States. It is getting heated as the American and Italian coaches are arguing with each on the benches.

The United States defeats Italy 6-0 to move on to the semifinals. The US outshot Italy 51-6.
