After dominating the second period, the United States defeats Sweden 5-0 and moves on to the gold medal match.
At the age of 41, Elana Meyers Taylor becomes the oldest US women athlete to win a gold medal in the Winter Olympics as she wins gold in the Women’s Monobob for Bobsleigh. Kaillie Armbruster Humphries wins the bronze in the same event for the US.
At the end of Day 10, the United States has 19 medals (6 gold, 8 silver, and 5 bronze). They are on track to surpass their medal total in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
