Dybantsa Dynamic Despite Loss

AJ Dybantsa dazzled the crowd of 16,116 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts by scoring 25 points for BYU, the most for a single player by both teams during the game, against UConn in a narrow loss to them. Prior to returning to the hardwood that he played on in high school at Saint Sebastian in Needham, Massachusetts, Dybantsa had been electric on the court. He scored 21 points against Villanova in Las Vegas, Nevada, 17 points against Holy Cross, and 18 against Delaware.

In Boston, Dybantsa started slow in the first half. However, in the second half, he and Richie Saunders helped mount a comeback to make it a single digit defect to UConn. However, BYU was in foul trouble and all UConn had to do was constantly foul to get to the free throw line. This was ultimately the decider for the game as BYU loses to UConn 84-82 for their first loss of the season. However, Dybantsa continues to impress by scoring 20 points in two out of four games of the young college basketball season. The local crowd for Dybantsa at TD Garden demonstrated that New England is excited to see his success in the NBA going forward.
